Dense phase systems were introduced to overcome the limits of the transport components in the diluted phase and to be able to transport materials at very long distances through the use of high pressure compressed air (> 1Bar). The tank is therefore designed to withstand high pressures and can have a variable volume depending on the design flow rate.
