Suprabhatam - The Eternal Presence of Lord Venkateswara - Mixed Medium

Inclusive of all taxes

In creating "Divine Script," I sought to capture the sacred essence of early morning devotion, a time when the world stands still and the soul reaches out in prayer. This painting is my homage to the serene and transformative hours of dawn, which are marked by the chanting of the Venkateswara Suprabhatam, invoking the blessings of the divine.

At the heart of this painting is the majestic depiction of Lord Venkateswara, flanked by two significant symbols – the Chakra (discus) and Shankha (conch shell). These elements are not merely decorative; they hold deep spiritual significance. The Chakra represents the mind and consciousness, while the Shankha symbolizes the primordial sound and the essence of life.

The backdrop, a warm beige, represents the first light of day, reflecting the purity and calm of morning prayers. This color sets the stage for the spiritual journey of the viewer, offering a canvas that echoes the ancient walls of temples adorned with sacred texts. Centered in this expanse is Lord Venkateswara, whose presence is both a guiding light and a profound inspiration in my work.
