MUSTARD OIL
Mustard oil is a versatile and nutrient-rich cooking oil derived from the seeds of the mustard plant. Known for its strong, pungent flavor and aroma, it is a staple in many kitchens, especially in South Asian and Mediterranean cuisines. Rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, mustard oil is also packed with antioxidants, vitamin E, and omega-3 fatty acids, offering a range of health benefits. It is often used for frying, sautéing, and dressing, while also being valued for its potential therapeutic qualities, such as improving circulation and promoting skin health. Mustard oil is available in both refined and unrefined varieties, with the unrefined version often preferred for its robust flavor and higher nutritional content.
CHICKPEA (GRAM)

Known for their mild, nutty flavor and firm texture, chickpeas are a staple in cuisines worldwide, particularly in Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and South Asian dishes.
Rich in plant-based protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, chickpeas are an excellent source of nutrition. They are a great option for vegetarians and vegans looking for a protein-rich food that supports muscle health and overall wellness. Chickpeas are also high in folate, iron, manganese, and magnesium, promoting heart health, digestive health, and a balanced diet.
Commonly used in a variety of dishes, chickpeas can be boiled, roasted, or ground into flour (besan) for making a wide range of products such as hummus, falafel, curries, stews, and snacks.
MUSTARD CAKE
Mustard cake is a natural byproduct of mustard oil production, created by pressing the mustard seeds to extract the oil. The leftover cake, rich in protein, fiber, and essential nutrients, is commonly used as animal feed or as a potent organic fertilizer. Mustard cake is highly valued in agricultural settings due to its high nitrogen content, which helps improve soil quality and promote plant growth.
In addition to its agricultural uses, mustard cake is sometimes used in cooking, particularly in certain regional cuisines where it imparts a unique, slightly pungent flavor to dishes. However, the primary applications of mustard cake are typically in farming, where it serves as an excellent organic supplement for both plants and livestock.
Whether used to enrich the soil or as a nutritious feed, mustard cake is an environmentally friendly, versatile product that supports sustainable farming practices.
